Hey Guys - i am thinking about trying my Exo3 Tour 16x18 with a good multi like NRG2. Does anyone have experience of this? I am worried it will be too soft.
Have been using a 12oz plus racquet that was a little stiffer (pro kennex core1 no. 6) but it has started to give me arm problems; even with a gut combo at low tension. But i love the plow through and the way the ball penetrates the court. So i am gonna add lead to the exo3 and put in a multi hoping to achieve the same effect.

I would pick another multi, Nrg2 has a way of drying out quickly and dying and provides very dead spin. I love tecnifibre's TGV and weiss canon's Explosiv 16 in the exo3's, as far as multis are concerned.

I found that depending on what tension you pick and where you place the extra weight, that no, the exo3 doesn't feel too soft, go for it.

Just keep in mind very few of those reviews were performed in the Exo Tour. As for NRG2 16, I found it and Quasi Gut 16 to be severely lacking in spin. Don't even bother trying 17g multis in this frame. The durable 16g multis give me less than 10 hours but this racket with a multifilament string is a real arm saver.

Ah, I was unaware the Exos were a recent switch. Either way, still a great place to start.

I don't like multi's in a exo3 tour personally. But I did use babolat addiction and thought that was okay

My favorite setups are poly mains with multi crosses but my arm will not go for that at the moment.
