    How much would you guess it would cost to feed 50 college kids a breakfast of bagels and cream cheese, oj, and coffe PLUS lunch consisting of pizza and cokes?

    Has anyone ever budgeted something like this before?

    May not get any responses but worth asking.

    50 bagles at 1.25 each = $62.50
    15 pies at 12 dollars each = $180
    50 Bucks for soda and juice
    15 bucks for Cream Cheese

    Total = $307.50

    Give or take a few bucks for plates, napkins and stuff

    More girls or guys?

    1 bagel per guy won't be enough. I'd calculate with between 80 and 90 bagels.

    Then, I'd go with 2 or 3 slices of pizza per person. 3 * 50 = 150 slices divided by 8 slices per pizza = 18.75 => 19 pizzas

    I'm not sure how much water and soda costs right now. But when I was in the US, 3 litres of water was like 80 cents and soda $1.25 per 2 litre bottle.

    I don't have prices for OJ and cream cheese either. Just go to a store and have a look.

    For coffee, get some coffee powder and make it in the morning. Also, check local stores for prices.

    Although the bagel quality is not quite the same, going to Costco (or some other similar store) and buying in bulk would cut your costs quite a bit. 1.25/bagel is quite steep.

    I agree and I simply assumed that he would do that.

    Little Ceaser's pizza is $5.55 per pie. Just make sure you call ahead. Pepperoni and cheese only but they will be good enough.

    For the rest go grocery shopping. More bagels and cream cheese for the buck. You can even get Kraft or store brand flavored cream cheese.

    Usually Pepsi or Coke products will be on sale. I would get 10-12 2 Liters. (5 kids per bottle) $1 - $1.25 a bottle

    OJ - 4 or 5 gallon jugs - get the Dean's or Country Fresh from concentrate equivalent. $4 - 5 per jug.

    For coffee see if the facility has coffee makers and big coffee dispensors. Most do and all you have is the price of a container of coffee beans.

    Don't forget cups, napkins, paper plates, stirrers, sugar, cream, tea as an alternative to coffee, and plastic spoons.
