I'm walking back to the 28" world with an extended Wilson Rok (http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/showthread.php?p=7073508). I'm tinkering with the weight, balance and locations to add weight (3 and 9, 12 etc).

With all extra weight in the handle, it weights 357g, balance at 33,5 cm. Maybe I'll add a couple of grams at 3 and 9 and "cap" it with head tape (will be around 363-4, I guess). If possible, I would also like to make it more HL, but I'll just try it "stock" first.

My question is: how's your set up at >27,5"? What do you focus on when customizing such a frame?

I mostly play with 27", but have couple of 27.5" and 28" frames...

Wilson Sting Graphite/Ti (highbeam version): 27.5", 330g, 5 HL. 320 SW. I can hit very powerfull flat serves and efortless low trajectory deep groundies with it. Not much spin generated. Lots of led under the grip.

Prince Precission Longbody 770, shortened to 27.5", 322g, 8 HL, 320 SW. Lots of TS, easy power on serve and groundies. Used to kill my hand when it was 28" and 329 SW, but no preblems since I shortened it (changed the string too, though). I had to add a bit of led on 2/10 to bring the SW back to 320.

Prince Synergy Tour Ultra Lite: 28", 305g, 8 HL, 327 SW. Lots of power, lots of spin, easy to overhit and a bit reduced precission. Huge reach is fun. Some rubber in the handle.

PK 20G Reach: 28" 318g, 7 HL, 362(!?) SW. Huge power, less spin then two Prince. Swings less heavy then the SW would suggest, yet noticably clubbier then the other 3 above. Arm doesn't like it too much, indespite of the Kinetic tech inside. I'll probably shorten this in future, to reduce SW.
