Trying to decide between the Head Extreme MP 2.0 vs. the Babolat Pure Drive (2012 versions). My initial impression is that the MP 2.0 offers similar power to the PD but with a better feel, doesn't feel as hollow. Also seems to have more plow through due to higher swing weight, and was a bit easier on my arm which can be sensitive to overly stiff rackets with full poly strings. i would string either racket with a multifilament to soften it up. Not crazy about the MP paint job but can live with it. Any feedback from those who have hit both of these rackets extensively to help me choose? I'm 43, former high school singles player who now only plays 2-3 times/month.

I haven't used the Extreme MP 2.0 but I love the Extreme Pro 2.0. When I test drove the Pure Drives (2012), I felt that they were harsh on the arm and didn't offer as much feel at the net.

    I have played with both...

The Ex Mp definitely has more plow thru and a higher swingweight. Also has a larger sweetspot. PD12 is also a great racquet though...just lighter and not as solid feeling. What else do you want to know?

i like the extreme 2.0 better. just more feel imo. i think the donnay formula 100 is a better option than both though in this weight / category

I am a actually trying to decide right now between the Extreme and the F100. The Extreme has more flow and feels more solid to me. But I am still deciding. I like them both. Might try adding some lead to the F100.

I may have to test the MP. I love my Pure Drive, but I wouldn't mind a little more heft.
