    Agreed. Its nice to see that Santoro is back, but it is a bit selfish that he's taking a spot away from someone who really wants to prove himself at his first grand slam. If he wasn't retired, I'm sure no one would mind.

    Haha, he just wants the record for having played in the Slams for 3 consecutive decades. Don't quite blame him; everyone wants that honour...

    Although playing in doubles? That's not really considered retirement, is it?

    Santoro deserves his place in the AO more than some other player no one has heard of making up the numbers. Also from a tournament point of view he'll pull in the punters because he's fun to watch and can pull out some surprising results. Pro tennis is entertainment after all.
