I dont play anymore, but 12 team leagues are perfect. 10 teams go ok. and 8 team leagues are just too stacked with talent that there is never a need to maek any trades.

Anysite works for the free leagues. Although I do like Yahoos live scoring a little better than others. Never used NFL thuogh.

Hopefully you get twelve poeple to commit to this. But donteven do it with less than 10 teams.

CBS sports works well - its all automated.

My buddies aren't doing one this year, so count me in. Are we going to invest some prize $$?

Perhaps, if people are willing. Though setting up and ensuring that people pay might be too much for me to undertake (plus it might be against site rules). I'm all for playing for pride though. :)

I'm in it to win it.

I do prefer ESPN leagues but I will go with the consensus.

Look out though I have won two of my five leagues the last two years:lol:

I'm so in. Love fantasy football.

Prefer Yahoo but I'm good with ESPN - hate nfl.com.

Sounds good! 4/12 spots filled! Am leaning towards Yahoo since that's the one I have most experience with in fantasy.

Same here, I tried it like 3 years ago, and it was literally the worst site for fantasy.

Count me in! My vote is for Yahoo.

Let's make it interesting and throw in a $20 entry fee. New racket for the winner!!

I have done it once and will do it if you guys need a player, and $20 seems good because if theres no money involved then you will see teams that are terrible stop even paying attention to it.

7 interested, still not sure about putting $$$ on the line though. 1 - is it ok w/ site rules, and 2 - are people willing to put money on it?

Just get everyone's email address and arrange things outside of TT's jurisdiction. I'm cool with 20.

Yahoo seems to be the consensus, so that's the choice. PM me your contact info and I'll try to get things set up. As far as entry fee, I'm thinking more of $10. Again, contact info and I guess we'll Paypal it.

And the draft format will be the 'traditional' I guess format - snake draft, random order, head to head, etc. If we can get the league full and set the draft for sometime a few weeks from now, it would be great. When is everyone usually free?

Sent out the league info to those interested in joining. The date of the draft is just a placeholder and is subject to change. :)

Alright I registered, and I'm good with 10$, let me know when and where etc.

And as far as draft time, anytime in the evening is good for me.

I have so many stored up for all my leagues depending on who I draft. They will be in the primer that comes out soon.

    --------------

As far as $, not a big fan of it so I'm not sure I'll stay in the league.

JBF - PPR is the way to go, much more fun but lessens impact of QB and rises impact of RBs/WRs. Up to everyone how they'd want league to be.

Yeah...I know I got screwed a few years back when I had Brandon Marshall when he broke the record for receptions in a game and I was in a non PPR league. :?

I'm interested if there are still any spots free.

Have never used Yahoo before though; have been using NFL.com for years (although I think it got worse last year after CBS stopped running their leagues).

I'm down for putting up to 20 bucks entry fee, but we'd have to agree on split for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

Also, keep it at 10-12, anymore than that and it gets a bit crazy. I don't want my #1 or #2 receiver to be like Jordy Nelson or someone obscure like that.

I do a PPR league with my cousins/brother, so I'm good with that.

Uh oh, I smell a Colts fan.

    This shall be interesting.

Arian Foster for the Rushing title! :)

That's how NYK and I know each other - we got to know each other through a Colts blog. We're both pretty big fans of them and football in general. I was born and raised in Indiana, so I make sense. He was born and raised in Queens, NY, so I don't know what's his excuse. :)

I thought about it, but money's definitely a no for me. As much I'm into football (more than I love tennis), I'm not the biggest fantasy football fan - so adding a third league might be too much for me. So I figured if you all were short a person, I would sign up. But it looks like you'll fill up fine.

It's just 20 bucks? Or does your job prohibit you from gambling too? :)

Everybody has their reasons. I am a Knicks/Mets fan. Seff, as she said, was raised in Indy but she's also a Mets fan.

Also, I deleted my team. Didn't want to play for $$ and new job will keep me from being able to participate in the draft. Hate controlling teams I didn't draft. Anyway, good luck to all of you!

    :(

The time for the draft is just a placeholder and will be changed...unless you're going to be unavailable every night for the rest of the summer you could likely make the draft.

Anyways, only 5 teams in the league so far out of the 9 that were interested minus NYKings. Where's everyone else?

There are still openings, so still post if you're available. Also, wish I could start a poll but can't start 2 polls on 1 topic - if we have 12 teams, do people want it to be 4 team playoffs or 6 team playoffs. 6/12 seems like a bit much and kinda devalues the reg season, but I'm thinking 4/12 would lead some to give up once they're out of playoff contention.

Only 5 people in the league right now...I sent out info to a few of you that said you were interested but haven't signed up. Was looking to make it a 12 team league but will cut it to 10 if the interest isn't there.

I'm like the Djokovic mixed with Nadal and Federer of Fantasy Football.

    :)

We could just do like a Saturday or Sunday night draft. Weekend drafts usually work well for most people.

I'm thinking about doing away with the fee since there's such little interest and I'm having trouble filling the league. So if you're interested but don't want to pay the fee you can still post here.
