I've only used Gamma's lead tape. All but one package stayed on my racquets, but it's also possible I had dirt and various other contaminant on my friends.

Why? Don't know of other lead tapes available and never bothered looking for a different brand. It's lead with adhesive on the back. Don't need to get anymore fancy than that.

    The silver one.

I've got a large reel of thinnish tape at the moment, but sometimes it's good to have the wider stuff to. It helps to concerntrate the weight in 1 spot rather than spreading it out.

I wouldnt use 'branded' weight as it tends to look ugly on the frame.

    Regards

    I used these:

They are 3g each. I punched holes in them for gromets, and painted them white to match the racquet.

    Here's the result:

    I added 2 strips on each side, at 3 & 9.

i also like tourna's, the 1/4 inch - the thinner the better it sticks and doesn't come off

I thought lead tape is lead tape?
u get like a 100 inch (1/2 inch width) industrial roll for like less than $9 off the bay.
    customize to your heart's content.

I am cheap, I usually use electrical tape to tape over so none of that lead gets exposed for health reasons.

Right now I'm still playing around with different setups, so I need tape that I can peel off when I don't want it but still sticks to the frame in any weather. I like the Gamma 1/4" lead tape. It's easy to apply, easy to remove, and conveniently fits in the inside part of the frame in almost any racquet.
