I tried fed 2011 AO polos and it has very strange feeling.
I normally wear medium size and looked nice but shoulder line is bothers me.
    feels like shoulder is small.
I tried large size and very comfortable in shoulder area but neck area is a little big and slightly long

medium size looks perfect but uncomfortable at shoulder because of lines.
large size looks a little big but comfortable.

anyone who bought this polo what size did you buy?

I always buy fed polos, and I always get large, and they all fit fine, inculding the AO 2001 polo

I wear and XXL especially for my shoulders- and this AO 2011 fits like the 2005 Fed shirt which ever the year he was khaki/brown and red. I agree the shoulders are a bit off(looks/feel small) and it's tighter fitting then his usually fit- I think it's the pronounced yellow lines that are throwing the eye- at least it throws mine. I am getting used to it though- i do like the material.

I have bought the Fed shirts in large for the past couple of years and this year's AO shirt was suddenly definitely smaller across the shoulders/around the upper torso. I tried on a L and it was miles smaller than my other shirts - I thought the guy in the shop had given me the wrong size. I had to go up to XL to achieve the same fit.

I compared it to some other shirts and the AO 2011 shirt in XL is only the same size as the L sized Wimbledon 2010 shirt.

Nike really stuffed up the sizing on that particular shirt. It's meant I've not ordered any shirts online since in case I get the wrong one.

exactly, What I thought, I was very surprised about the fit:confused:
the problem is.... if I go larger size, neck area and collar looks big. also felt slightly long. medium size fits me well but shoulder area is uncomfortable.
I have a coupon from local stores and it will expire on Saturday so need to make a decision. I already tried three times but still can't make the decision.

I always buy M for all the RF polos (2010, 2011). AO '11 polo does feel a little tight on top only because of that new taping thing. Otherwise, length and fit wise, they're exactly the same, IMO

    that's my dilemma now.
medium size fits me perfectly except shoulder area. it might bother me when I serve....
large size fits me better in top but slightly big and long.

now I need to make decision between look vs function:confused:

last year's fed french polo.... dark blue polo was smaller fit than white polo so I got blue for large and medium for white.

I'm always a M in the Fed shirts. The shoulders fit me fine and I do notice the AO2011 polo is less baggy compared to the USO2011 day one. I like it and the shoulder seams (flatlock seams) don't bother me any during play. There's enough give.

just a heads up: I've also had the same issue with the concord trophy crew. I usually wear a Medium but this time around I feel like the upper back and shoulder area is a slightly tight. What really bothers me is that the strip seam in the back kind of digs into my skin.

I've tried going up a size, but then there's just too much fabric hanging around the sides. But it's such a nice shirt so I'm keeping it

Wait, same design polos but different fit?? Wow surprising. Malaysia only releases grand slam polos/crews so I didn't have a chance to try the white.

And @XFactorer: I agree with you on the AO '11 shoulder seam. I like the 'tight' feeling better. It doesn't bother me during play but you can feel it being there (if you know what I mean)

I feel this shirt is, indeed, one size smaller then normal. Which, in fact, I like it a lot. It fits perfectly for me.

I do not like the fact that this shirt is pretty much held together by glue/heat transfer, which mean it can fall apart easily, and not very durable...

So glad I didn't pay full price like some people did, it certainly doesn't worth $80!
