fed looks very cool in his all black attire, Nadal looks a little uncomfortable in his gear, maybe they could design a sleeveless tux with Capri pants to match

But Rafa is only 19 and Fed is like soooo lucky to win this one time against Rafa because it should be like 6-0 in their head to head, and Rafa is so dreamy, and sometimes I feel like I am Rafa's big brother, and uhmmm, did I mention he is only 19, and uhmmm, awwwwww Rafa is so cute... Vamos Rafa!!!!!!

Oh yeah well Fed is the GOAT and Rafa only is a loser clay courter Fed should have won the last 4 meetings but he wasn't fully concentrating Nadal is gonna get blown away at the French!! And Federer has such nice legs and great manly smelling feet.

But seriously, we all know that Fed is toast because Rafa is so cute and he is only 19 and he will obviously keep dramatically improving every single aspect of his game because he is only 19 and he is like so cute and so obviously Rafa will win the next 10 slams and not the ugly skinny arrogant boring Roger who is way past his prime unlike the cute Rafa who is only 19! Fed should retire! Vamos Rafa!!!

Mirka influences Roger's dressing, you can tell from the clothes they wear. Both definitely have good tastes.

They should have given Federer's award to Nadal now that Nadal who is only a 19 year old kid has beaten Federer 4 times in a row on both fast and slow surfaces. I got nothing against Federer as long as Nadal will keep on beating him every time they meet. Haha!!!

He looked kinda Matrix-y I thought. Was half expecting Lawrence Fishburn to appear in a long dark black leather overcoat ....

When your wardrobe consists largely of Prada clothes it's not too hard to look pretty cool and trendy.

Great post. And so true. You guys are finally getting it right. There's gotta be some reason why VR.com gets more traffic than RF.com. ;-)

For the record, I thought Roger looked quite handsome in his tux. Not sure about Mirka's dress choice, though.

But Roger just has to love that no matter where he goes that 19-year-old is right there, too. Must drive him nuts. *lol*

Federer looks all dapper. Ok, why does Nadal likes biting his trophies? I haven't seen Nadal with any girlfriends and I know he hangs out with Feliciano Lopez alot...

In Nadal's defence I am guessing his gf is still in school so she can't travel with him like Mirka who actually works for Roger so she can always be there with him.

Nadal is also lucky in Rome. Roger should have won the title. It could have been 2-4...

Yep, most parents don't let their 18-year-old daughters travel the world with their boyfriends. Of course, most 19-year-old boyfriends wouldn't be travelling the world. But she was in Barcelona with him.

I'd take my mother too, a 19 year old is not supposed to take his temporary girlfriend out to big events and leave mom at the house.

BTW, his mom seems to have a better body than Mirka.

We don't have too many male visitors to our site, but more than one person there thought that Mum looked hot.

I think Sra. Nadal is very attractive and that she looked stunning in that couture gown.

Again, I wasn't so sure about Mirka's choice of dress. I'm surprised there hasn't been more commentary about that here.

But one think I really liked, as I'm now seeing videos of the event, and when Roger's name was announced, he leaned over and kissed Mirka before going up to get his award. Very nice.

But his expression was a bit mixed as they panned to him while Rafa was getting his award. But not necessarily bad. It was more like -- I just can't seem to get rid of this kid:

Actually, he's smiling and looks pretty happy for Nadal. He has no reason to be jealous, after all he won the biggest award of the night.

It is really, incredibly pathetic that you compare web traffic like it's some sort of contest. I can't say I'm surprised, though.

And I'm never surprised by the Fed love here, either.

I look forward to seeing some of the videos you guys save and post.

Mixed? I saw a smile on Roger's face. No need to look for things that aren't there. There are enough people doing that already on this message board IMO.

I honestly could not care less which site gets more attention actually and which player is more popular in cyberspace because my appreciation of a tennis player has little to do with such things.

Jim Courier's comments about the Laureus winners. Thought you may like to hear them. And they are all courtesy of our fans at VR.com, who do these videos:

And for those of you thinking Rafa's gf doesn't exist. Although he didn't introduce her to the King of Spain, they are headline news this week:

Well, I'm not convinced. I'm still waiting to see a picture of Rafa and this Maria Francesca TOGETHER, kissing or, at least, holding hands. Come on... around Rafa's age, Roddick was griping Mandy's boob for the camera. I'm not saying Rafa has to do something stupid like that, but I think you should stop saying his a baby, He's a grown up man!

Well, they both could've had better clothes. Fed's suit was better, but the shirt shouldn't have been black...this way he looked like a hit-man or something. A shirt of any other bright color..like dark violet, or blue, or red for example would've worked better, imo.
And Nadal looked like he rented a suit...he looked old-fashioned, especially at his age. But he did have better shoes than Fed, that's for sure.

So they're even- Fed had a better suit and Rafa had better shoes :)

Oh, you may be sorry you asked. The tabloid photos were published today, and if this doesn't convince you . . . .

Has anyone ever been to this awards show? Is it a pretty hard ticket to snag?

hehehe, and I held back the more "racy" shots. I doubt Rafa and Xisca will be having romantic public strolls in the near future.
