I didn't get a chance to watch it all (I came into work and the members were watching it @ 6-5 Fed in the third...:-| ) Were the tie breaks not interesting at all? What made it boring?

The tie breaks weren't that good. They were not breaking serve. Both Roger and Ivan didn't show much interest through the whole match. Ivan was apparently having some stomach problems and Federer just didn't seem into it (like he was playing someone in the firts round of a tournament). The crowd wasn't real into it and there weren't too many interesting points. It was too "even" the whole time. Federer also made terrible backhand erorrs. It's not like we didn't know what the outcome would be.

That is what it seemed like to ME. I guess nobody else felt that way...

    The women's final was better.

Andres, I didn't even realize that he did that... Doh!!

    To safinlives:

Yeah man, rules guy... or if you just don't want to do that then don't spoil, esp. in the title.

next time, a title like "Fed vs. Ljubicic - *SPOILER*" or something like that... Welcome to the forums.... enjoy the flames...

i have to agree.. after watching the first set then seeing them trade breaks i turned off the tele.. fed didn't seem interested and lub just didnt seem fit enough for me. I agree fed had so many backhand errors and lub had so many forehand errors in the first set and a half. but what are you gonna do? :p

Watching Federer play is always boring. Always the same style of play and same result. I dont even bother watching Federer finals and if this keeps up I doubt people will bother to keep tuning in. Watching Blake play Chela was a hundred times better

This was different. A complete snoozefest. Not even much Fed brilliance at all. Super dissapointing, after I had been expecting a repeat final of last year. Damn you Carlos Moya!!!

Don't be so sure. The jerk who was posting match results throughout the AO on this board was posting them under a new user account as well. He was told more than once to post results in the Match Results forum but kept on doing it.

For all we know, this could be the same person.

How many people create a new user account to post the results of a match?
