Federer is known for hitting unbelievable winners, often on the run involving extreme angles and ungodly body control. Such shots are often even admired and praised by the former alltime greats of tennis. Unfortunately I missed the Federer v Berdich yesterday, and heard that the first point at 5-3 in the 1st set, there was a midcourt exchange where Roger hit a flat BH blast at Berdich that had extreme pace and almost no net clearance. Johhny Mac had much praise for this stroke and I heard from another tennis great that it was as good or better than any BH that Don Budge ever hit. Can anybody else describe this hit in more detail ? Any chance anybody has or can post a clip of this hit ?
