Look at Fed's facial expressions vs Berdych. Berdych looks stressed as hell as if he's fighting for his life. Fed looks bored and barely focused.

Federer nearly always looks like that. In these 1000 events, he looks genuinely bored, or annoyed that he has to play.

That's too funny! Don't believe it's at all representative of their emotional state but man, Federer looks as if he's not there.

    Skillz.

Of course he does, for a long time now(ever since 2003-2004).Very rarely do you see emotion on his face, even in big slam matches, that's just the way he acts on court, doesn't mean he isn't fighting hard to win.

People are just annoying with all this tanking nonsense, not saying Fed didn't tank some masters matches in the past but no way did he tank against Bagdathis and Berdman,he had MPs in them for crying out loud.

I think it would be FABulous if Nike added a little ribbon bow to his headbands!

I agree. And I think Tomas B always has that "deer in the headlights" look. I also agree with Gorecki-orange is a hideous color. Not to sound racist but it doesn't look good on light-skinned people.

He is a little bit slower it seems. Probably from having twin infants. You get a lot less sleep when you become a father.

He has said that he puts his earplugs in when he goes to sleep, and always try to get about 12 hours of solid sleep. Which is pretty remarkable if you ask me.

not sure if its actually a speed issue for fed, as it is, that he has been missing shots that used to be 'usual' for him, like that crazy crosscourt backhand dipper pass he would always make at deuce, and that down the middle ace we used to see come out of no where
