Quite recently I've been looking over a lot of the previous matches Federer and Nadal have played. I just went through the whole Federer-Tsonga match last, and used Sony Vegas Pro 10 to look at the details of point I found interesting or had some strategic aspects to it. I've decided on releasing string of videos similar to the one below. Basically I use a Vegas to slow down the clip and make it as smooth as possible, it works better if the clip is in HD, and with the features on Vegas I can adjust the focus on whatever I want, footwork, racquet swing path, anything that can possibly focus on given the clip.

    Here's the link:

Feel free to ask for a request if you want me look at a specific point and do the same with, you name it, just post it in the thread. I'd prefer if you find on that of high quality or HD.

Oh, and don't forget to read the description, I write the important things I noticed in the point.

I hope you enjoy this and make use of it.

you can get a lot of matches complete from tennistorrents and tennis.tv.

also, the Fed vs Blake final (2006??) and some of Fed's matches in the (2007?) WTF (vs Gonzo). The one in which he beat Ferrer in the final.

Alright as per request, Federe vs Blake 2006 TMC a.k.a. Fed Backhand Festival.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9gjwCuuhyNM

Analysis in the description below, better to watch in HD. Sorry for the poor zoom, the original clip was not in HD, and I had to convert the flv. to wmv. which further reduced the quality.

Another exceptional point from Federer. I'm getting a bit tired of doing Federer, I have another 5 videos of him that I haven't uploaded.

Think I'll do a Rafa one next, any suggestions since I barely watch him play, his matches always come up at a bad timing for me :/

LOL! I guess I never thought about that. I don't think he can do much with it though, if he really wants to challenge Roger right now he'd have to go all out beast. He especially needs to serve well and be really strategic about the point he is playing.

I've noticed that the most successful player against Federer nowadays are the ones that are able to hook him out of the court and be able to give him balls without pace and at the same time have their shots deep so he doesn't have any sitters.

Ah, now I see, I'll try to look into that in the future. Their matches are pretty entertaining to watch, Blake doing as much as anybody can do but Federer nearly always managing to turn the tables around. You have to feel sorry for Blake, I mean I went through all the points in that match and Blake really didn't do anything wrong on a lot of them, he had the right approach and everything, Federer was just too good to be honest.

oh btw, ahmed, i had put up videos on Federer and other OHBH's once upon a time. I got notices from Youtube to delete them otherwise my account would be deleted.

So be prepared. These are the copyright of IMG or something. It seems they keep looking for Federer videos taken from other sources, and they probably check the Federer tag too.

Its okay if you've taken a video of him yourself, but taking it off what was released on telly will get your account in trouble.

p.s. not just Federer. Also other pros like Kohlschreiber etc. So they are checking many tags, or titles.

Thanks for the the notice, youtube already told me that my first video cannot be seen in in France and some other places for copyright reason, but nothing about deleting them yet.

I'll be sure to keep a look out for any of those.
