Dimitrov's strokes are "harsher", as in they're not as smooth and easy looking like Federer's. If you just look at Dimitrov's forehand swing, it's a little more forceful looking. But hey, it's pretty damn close.

Funny, my reception was weak, so it was blurry. Because it was blurry I couldn't tell who was who as they play so similar.

Clearly big differences, but I love watching "Baby Fed"

    Hey Clinton,
Haven't seen any updates from you in a while. Are you still playing on the tour? How's the tennis going?

    Clint, is that you?
    Welcome back!
Hope your previous years were somewhat profitable, and your current year better and stronger.
We missed having a real player on these forums.

    Congratulations !!
Life can make many twists and turns, and you can make a positive on most.
Hope you enjoy your current incarnation and it's a pleasure to have you on here, hope you will drop in from time to time.
We're getting older, slower, blinder, slower reactions, but still argue the same as ever.

Especially when he plays, the difference is what I see as Dimitrov swings at the ball whereas Fed swings through it as though it doesn't exist. It's uncanny, it's like Fed always dictates the behavior of the ball when he hits a forehand. In person, this is  inducing.

You know what's " inducing" when I watch Federer play? It's when he runs around his backhand on the ad court to hit a forehand, only to shank it or doesn't do anything with that forehand, while leaving the entire deuce court open.

When I see that, I do one of these instead:

Hit the backhand Federer! Even you said it's gotten a lot better over the years (and it has!).

He's recalling his youth when that IO forehand was the most feared shot in the game. He really should trust the BH more, I agree.
