Something happen in the plane ride that cause nadal to get injured and retire his first match at cinci.

i think fed poisioned him or did something unhornorable!

WHy else would nadal retire to monaco after having a great week in canada!

man, I admire him even more now. And who knew he was obsessed with basketball when he was young huh? I kinda am the same way, grew up loving basketball with posters etc., watched all the games and now kinda grew into loving tennis. lovely interview you posted.

The two of them realize they share a special talent level which few players in history have ever reached.

Your an idiot! Fed is really a standup guy. Don't you think the other pro's would see through this so-called facade if he was actually a jerk?

Exactly!! I think they share a respect for each other and an appreciation in the other's ability to improve their game. Neither will become lazy and take the matches for granted when they know the other is just around the corner. I'm not surprised that they are friendly off the court at all - the only ones who seem to enjoy throwing the mud around are the fans.

I think that this is what sportmanship is all about. I think every athlete should be like Fer or Rafa.

I think it's just for the publicity and showing off his generousity for his rival.
    Nice try Federer!

Well, they finally had something in common to talk about on the plane: losing to the same guy!

I agree that something had to happen on the plane and Federer probably poisoned Nadal. It just makes no sense to me that Nadal would loose to a claycourter Monaco in straight sets and suddenly feel pain. Damn you evil Federer!!
