Too funny! That photoshop is crazy!
not the greatest photoshop effect ever.. but i made an attempt
sorry Getty Images, you're the only guys who ever have good pictures!
Real Men Dare To Wear PINK!
And some even look gorgeous in doing so.
Vamos, hopp, my deare gentlemen!
That doesn't look as bad on him as I thought. That being said, it's still not a good color for him. I guess I'm just used to seeing him in the dark, solid colors is why I think it doesn't suit him.
Federer has pulled off a lot of things, like the man bag and the full trousers, and no doubt he can pull off pink. But does he look good in it? um, no.
i have apink t shirt but i don't wear purces !!
this is same shirt
I can't change my avatar. At least people will know who BucketGenious is.one of the best guitar players who ever lived. The last innovating guitar player who appeared after the great ones that came in the 70's early 80's.
I'll leave you a video to check his amazing talent.
Yes you can. Put your ode to the guitarist and the YouTube in your sig. That face looks like the poor guy from Spain who had to have the full face transplant.
Fed will be fine in this shirt. Billy Crystal will show up in Toronto and say "You look mahvalous!"
Tell that to John Newcombe.
I certainly hope this was meant to be a joke.
Or morons. Or both.
I'm a metro guy, and I find that Pink can be worn by men, but I agree that it mostly is a color for the ladies.
I do have a couple of pinkish and salmon shirts and polos, and I wear them from time to time - preferably together with all black pants and jacket for a nice contrast
It looks OK on some guys, but I agree that it's a color mainly aimed at girls and ladies.
But guys should be able to wear it from time to time - it's just another color, though a bit on the feminine side
I play golf, and I see the pink color on polos out there from time to time - and no, they are not all gays, but probably metros like me
The color IS NOT salmon. It's #25 on the chart. It's a medium pink.
And Fed would not wear both top and bottoms in that color. He'd probably wear black shorts. And he better wear black shoes just to look more manly. OOPS!
The front of his shirt looks like a tuxedo shirt. He would look good in it going out with Mirka.
Yup, you are absolutely right, especially "hot pink".
pink is for everyone.
If you wear pink, you will lose to Soderling and get knee tendinitis.
Yes of course. You will get knee tendinitis but only when you lost
I think it looks great. I like the pink-grey combo.
"Haters gonna hate, no?"
It looks worse on him than it did in the pictures. Horrible shade, should have been a much darker pink, that would have been fine. But this is just... no.
White wristbands ewwww
If I was Federer I would always - always - wear black. Except at Wimbledon.
Just black everything. No sponsor logos, no batman wings, no fashion, no drama.
USO'07 was close.
If not black, then some other color. One color. Not pink, please. He was big enough to associate an entire color with his name - like #99 will forever be remembered in the NHL. Pity that he didn't.
Good choise in my opinion. It's something different.
And he still wearing the custom Vapor VI!When he gonna change this?NEVER???
What shoes were Federer wearing in his Rogers Cup match? Definitely not the latest Vapor, surely?
I was wondering the same thing. It seems like they are the last version of the Vapors (Vapor VI) .... similar to these (below) but with slightly different colors ... more white vs black. He does have his shoes custom made but I'm pretty sure these are based on the old Vapor model not the new one.
Similar to these:
Gayest Outfit Of All Time
Ok he doesn't look as bad as I thought but maybe he'd look alittle better with black shorts, wristband, and bandana
Yep if you're going for a color that soft and light you have to compensate with something strong and dark (black). That khaki short makes him look like a pre-schooler.
Roger looks good in everything ... and im not a gay man here !!
However the pink / yellow contrast which Nadal wore was aweful ..
As long as he doesn't get all matchy matchy with sweatbands. He does wear some silly stuff, but he's Fed. He gets big bucks to wear the stuff.
The only reason why Federer wore pink was because it was cancer awareness day.
geee... i thought this pink Fed shirt was bad... just now watching the pink Nadal shirt (Toronto), i puked...
Federer after his Fabulous gender change
u asked for them, here they are
also the commentators were talking about it, "this is neon pink, the one federer wore was basic pink....." gosh
what's so wrong about pink
Fed or Rafa should be compared to:
We have too many older "manly men" men on this thread. They believe that you play tennis with a woody, a sweater vest, long white pants and preferably a scotch in the other hand. Maybe a monocle too.
I foresee Nadal will sport the skorts one day...in pink...of course...
LOL! But I personally think it's even more a matter of too many (pre-)pubescent boys still unsure and insecure of their own sexuality having a problem with "pink"...
Both Roger and Rafa look stunning in their respective versions of "pink". And I absolutely adore the fact that neither of the two seems to bother about the silly connotations & labels associated with the colour. Go Fedal in PINK!
I'm curious exactly what in a man's brain causes them to seperate pink apart from the other colours. I find it interesting why some guys think the color pink is somehow different.
Its just another colour.
the question is, which one of the two (Nadal or Federer) is gonna be the first to sport the "rainbow" shirt?
But I think Fed should have gone with a darker pink.
IMHO I think it is because in our culture we automatically associate pink with femininity. What color do we dress our baby girls in? Pink, regardless of the fact that it is just a color, has a socially-created connotation of womanhood.
It's not a good pink either, looks like something red got into the wash and ruined his white tennis shirt. Those pleats or whatever they are don't help either, like a little girl's shirt from the late 70s. Don't think we'll be seeing many guys at tennis clubs wearing this one.
