    If Fed beats Sampras' 286 weeks by being #1 286/7 weeks consecutively, that will be doubly impressive...but at this point, even if he beats it non-consecutively, it'll already be more impressive, due to the 4-year uninterrupted stretch as #1.

    Who cares, I don't think he will make it anyway. Djokovic and Nadal are close enough on his heals that he will not end 2008 as #1.

    Sorry, but Fed will not win FO ever ever ever ever! Nadal's just gettin stronger and stronger on clay.... and if its not him, theres Djoko..., I think Fed's chances on Roland Garros are over
