I've never seen this b4, he's sat with Mirka.
I guess Fed can say he's watching his mate play, but also he is watching a rival....

He's watching because Wawrinka is an up and coming Swiss player, I suppose.

....and Tony Roche is out there too. Maybe they're taking notes.

If Roche wasn't there, I would have said he is supporting a Swiss mate. But with Roche in the crowd too, this means they consider Ancic a big threat, the only one serious threat till the finals.

Only because Fed will defect from Switzerland and make his own country, I think they'll call it Goatland.

Wawrinka is the excuse, Ancic is the reason.

Let me say it again - Ancic will win Wimbledon!

Not so unusual for Federer. He was checking out matches by himself at Halle, the tournament before. Nobody recognised/bothered him. He's very unassuming and self effacing.

Ancic is definitely Roger's biggest threat; I've said this from the beginning. But I don't really see him taking more than a set off of Fed.

Agassi or Roddick in the final would be a much tougher test for Federer. Even Nadal in the final would be a bigger test than Ancic. Hewitt in the final, on the other hand, would go something like 6-2 6-0 6-1, and would be one of the most boring finals ever, right next to the US Open 2004.

That was not a boring final in any sense of the word. It was such an amazing display of GOATness. Hewitt, one of the top hardcourt players (perhaps the best) of that season was absolutely blown off of the court. It was an incredible display to watch.

A boring final was Hewitt def. Nalbandian at Wimbledon 2002. Now that is something not worth repeating.
