Way to go Nike. This is like Nadal in 2009 but more subtle.

Fed obviously hates the LL Vapors and refuses to wear them. Sampras used to do the same thing until Nike finally got some custom Oscillates to work for him. Sampras used to wear whited out Wilson Pro Staffs at times.

Monte Carlo. He switched over from playing in the Cage II on the hardcourts in Miami to the CB 1.3 on the clay courts in Monte Carlo.

I don't blame Federer for not wearing the real Lunar Lites, those things suck! But at least he's wearing the colorways of the Lunar Lites. Unlike when the Vapor 3's came out, he didn't even bother with those things. He just wore the vapor speeds that whole season!

LLs are too soft for me, I like the VI better because it's more supportive, Fed probably does too.

Although I think Fed wore LLs in the tourny two before this on clay...forgot the name

Federer uses custom made, ultra-high quality and super-light shoes. They are not available in retail.

I remember seeing him in a Tennis Channel classic show recently of the 1995 Aussie Open final against Agassi and Pete was wearing them in that match. Pro Staff Classic mesh with the W's on the sides and Wilson on the heel tab whited out. In some later matches he even went so far as to paint a Nike swoosh on them.
