...from Wawrinka's backhand. Watching the match last night between Wawrinka and Nadal, Stan had some solid backhands. He didn't try to overdo anything, and he did just enough to keep the ball in play yet deep enough to push Nadal. I would argue that the Wawrinka backhand's consistency is probably in the top 3 for one-handers, up there with Gasquet and Kohlschreiber. Not saying Wawrinka's backhand is a weapon; it definitely is a great aspect of his game though since he is able to keep the ball in play till he can set up a forehand or charge into the net.
