George Bastl humiliation is by no chance worst than Stakhovsky humiliation ;)
Federer will never retire the way Sampras did, and he will have to live with it ;)

You're right, Federer will never retire the way Sampras did.[IMG]

This is a shame for viewers around the world. Unless you live in Germany, i'm pretty sure we are not restricted here in the states.

When Tommy Haas stops trolling. He had a couple of break points to go 5-1 up in the deciding set against Kavcic and now we're back on serve at 4-3.

why does roger have to retire like Sampras? what is so bad about slipping down to #100 then retiring when you can't play anymore ? There is nothing wrong with that. They are Tennis players, not some kind of God.

actually you are totally right, there is nothing wrong.
There is nothing to retire like Blake and Hewitt will.
Nothing wrong to retire like Roddick did.

But come on, we all know how proud Roger is, it will be damn painful for him not to retire like a champion, Sampras-like.

    Brands Federer here : http://www.sportlemon.tv/20130715/vv51e3b3e7c78033.48178109-604816.html

I keep the same guess: 6/3 6/3 for the GOAT.

He also said he loves tennis and he loves traveling. He also said his record speaks for itself and he has nothing to prove to anyone else. Now he is playing for himself now, purely for the enjoyment of it.

you are again , ignorant or lying.

Sampras did not call it off soon after he won the USO.

He waited for 1 year, saw he was no match for the field and then quit during the next USO.

I wish Roger was playing some claycourter like Ramos or someone for his first match with the new stick, I'd like to see him get in a nice rhythm with it rather than playing a ball basher like Brands.

This shows why Federer is better and more adaptable than a primitive stubborn **** like Pete Sampras, who lived and died with his 85. Federer would have dominated the 90's while Sampras would have floundered in the 2000's.
