Yea, makes me wonder if its just the clay or if Federer'll take this instability into Wimbledon and the hardcourts.

break points are all Monaco will take off Federer.
I can't believe there are pple who would even think that Monaco would trouble Roger.
    What weapons does he have?

Did you read the posts or are you just posting for the sake of it? Breaks is all a player needs to win a set and a match.

It's not about who thinks that Monaco could trouble Federer but the fact that Federer is trailing in the second set by 4-2 now and Monaco is serving. If he doesn't break now the match will be very close to 1-1 and it will be determined in the 3rd set.

3-6 6-2 Wheres the coach when you need him. I think Fed will be happy just to scrape out of this one.

Is there a roof over centre court? The other matches are suspended due to rain.

Monaco takes the 2nd set 6-2!!!

This is scary for Federer, even if he wins the match.

Maybe he knows he's just that comfortable he's done the whole 'throw a set and get some match practice' thing? Time will tell...

What you say is absurd to say the least. After all that happened lately he wouldn't give a set for any reason to anyone and risk losing again. This is out of his control and out of his hands and the results speak by themselves.

Monaco leads 1-0 and Federer serves.

15-15 on Federer's serve. Federer must be showering in fear right now.

    15-30 for Monaco.

Another break point for Monaco at advantage.
And Federer saves another break point to make it deuce!

If Monaco doesn't break now then he will regret it for a long time.

    Advantage Federer.
    Deuce again!

    This is becoming a thriller.

Sometimes when we try to understand why our favorite players lose or are not playing well we say excuses that we know can't be true just to feel that there is a chance it wasn't their fault or the bad performance that lead to it.

Another break point for Monaco
    And another deuce!
Monaco squandered 6-7 break points in this game already and now Federer has a game point.

And after a thriller game Federer holds 1-1. Monaco will pay for losing those 7 break points on that single game.

Apparently it'll take a while for Fed to gain back his hability to steam roll his oponents... Or comfortably hold serve, for that matter.
