Rog is now officially scared of both Murray and Djoko.

So far Roger is not losing from the baseline but murray serves better.

I love how everyone's already stating Federer is going to lose hard here. He just got some break points on the Murray serve and completed a love hold. Can't you just wait for what's to come next instead of making ridiculous statements?

That said, this match does remind me of what a great backhand Murray has.

This is looking a lot like the first set of last year's wimbledon final with murray overpowering fed for a time...

The compression shirt keeps muscles warm and loose to prevent muscle strain. only 20 C.

Murray seems to be wincing and level gone down. Wonder if he's picked up a niggle.

Have you ever played on Plexicushion? It's actually not that slow, the AO balls fluff up quite fast which makes it travel slower but it is a medium-fast rated court and after playing on plexicushion, clay and carpet, I'd have to agree with that rating.

btw Fed wasn't on the other side, in fact he wasn't far away from it, he got wrong footed but it looked very gettable.

Are you implying Fed can only play well on a fast court? I always get criticized when I say this.

It's obvious. He doesn't normally wear the compression undershirt. He's been doing it in every match this tournament. He only served 6 aces in 5 sets against Tsonga. That's the fewest # of aces Federer has ever hit in a 5 set match in his career. His first serve speed is also way slow in this match tonight as is the placement.

Great pass Fed, he's playing well from the baseline.

The only reason Fed is losing right now is because he's serving poorly. He's actually doing slightly better than Murray in the baseline exchanges.

Yeat beats both on a regular basis.

Fed is scared of nobody but Nadal and that's only because Nadal doesn't allow him to hit a FH.

Murray needs to make a few mistakes to let Fed back in. And as I type this, ESPN makes a mistake and the feed goes dark...

Federer seems like he's onto that slice down the middle serve murray has been using alot. Murray needs to keep up those heavy flat serves, get a bunch of ace's

Er, what? He got broken because he lost baseline rallies. And his serve is still a big reason he has held serve twice.

    Murray looking imperious. Great footwork.

Commentators are saying Murray is really using his strength in these slower conditions to bully Federer.

He said no such thing. He said that Murray is NOW a bit better cause of how he improved. Fed is old.

Federer needs to attack the net and stop hanging back trading groundies with Murray or else he's going to lose this match.

Goran Ivanisevic saying something similar. He's on 5live and trolling John Inverdale.

Inverdale trying to remain all 'BBC' and balanced, Goran just being all "There is absolutely no way Federer can win this match, there is no way he can deal with Murray."

    Excellent.

Federer is not going to beat Murray if he can't get his first serve in. And so far that has been the case.

Just as I suspected, Federer's FH is missing because he's under pressure from Murray's defense tonight. He always tends to go for more on his FH because he knows that guys like Murray, Nadal and Novak have incredible defensive skills.

Can I remind you this match will last for at least 3 sets, possibly 5? If you can correctly predict the rest of the match, you might wanna call yourself a psychic.

Federer needs to start opening up the court with his serve.
