Federer is an artist
The others are just brutal machines
He has some brains this Goran. Must know something about tennis!
Yeah, he does. Haven't seen anything wrong from him yet.
Some nice points in that last game, wondering if Murray will only get more in the zone as it goes on and get some of these in
VERY good hold by federer, holding murray off there. That shot down the line that murray almost pulled off after the federer's impressive backhand smash would of been the shot of the whole aussie open if he pulled it off.
Can't do that when you're missing first serves, first serves are not hitting spots, murray returning almost everything deep.
Let's get something straight if Murray wins the first set this match is over fed win not have the stamina to come back after the tsonga match vs Murray who is physically in sick shape.
he's doing fine from the ground ... its his serve that's the problem as of now ...
Class tennis by Murray, he seems very relaxed.
not sure the last volley was necessary from my angle, but nice reaction from murray
Fed does everything well, but somehow Murray outsmarts him. Weird to watch.
Murray so tight on break points. If he loses this set, he has no one to blame but himself. Surprised he so tight.
Murray 15 winners to Fed's 5
5 winners from Federer
15 from Murray!!!
Murray has simply not been taken out of his comfort zone.
Murray getting 70% of first serves in and winning 84% of first serve points. Absolutely immense.
Fed is mostly an instinctive player. I don't think he's particularly smart.
Role reversal - Federer is surviving off Murray's errors. And his serve is terrible. this is sad to watch.
Fed also has less UEs so he's having the stats of a pusher.
From those serve stats, sounds like back problems from Fed.
Murray also has more UE's.
At least it was 11-5 in Winners and 11-5 in UE's at one point
Fed's serve is gone.
Has Fed become a pusher?
Fed seems to have started serving somewhat better, needs to keep that up.
I think Federer just can't accepting aging and is trying to serve like he used to
Murray's brute strength has been so controlled and he is hitting such a heavy ball. Federer is not rattling him at all.
The difference in level is obvious at the moment. Federer is struggling just to stay competitive.
Where is the serve old man, the serve?!?!
Fed is going to need Murray's help in this match if he's going to win lol.
Fck of!. Just fck off with your excuses.
Veroniquem is right.
Murray's best results have come in fast conditions.
He's hammered Djokovic, Federer and Nadal multiple times in these conditions so stop it with the nonsense.
To be honest, you don't think anything positive about Fed. You're not exactly an objective poster, now are you? You also don't seem to analyze the game very well
I think fed slices vs Murray at times just to get a breather in the rallies.
Murray will have ton of trouble holding here. All these stats mean nothing. I see Fed break unless Murray goes for it in the big points.
That improved Murray forehand technique is making a huge difference. Andy is deadly on both sides now, and even more so on the forehand than backhand for power. Roger is screwed unless Andy drops his level.
Everytime murray is forced to play a point to federer's forehand, the next point is ALWAYS putting it back on federer's backhand. Its such a simple plan but its working so well.
Everyone knows federer's forehand is scary.
easy hold by Fed. Starting to serve much better.
Federer is keeping it competitive. Murray just has him by the balls since he broke early and is defending his own serve very well.
You're really having a trolling orgasmatron
I think the USO victory is making all the difference in Murray's attitude. He outplayed Federer for one and a half sets at Wimbledon too but the pressure of winning the first slam in front of his home crowd got to him and Fed was just not willing to give up Wimby so easily.
Today is different, I think. Looking at how things are going so far, Murray may take this in straights.
See what I mean? You can't analyze squat. Do you even watch the match? Probably not.
Fed's so flat, I'm amazed he hasn't been broken more.
Good sign for Muzza if the Fed fans are already overdoing the excuses. Fed's serve deteriorates when his opponents are challenging it. That's why Nadal has so much success against him.
sterling forehand from fed.
That fed fh murray managed to get back is proof this is very slow
Awesome point. Fed was too scared of the last FH though, he went to the middle.
I'll admit, I'm constantly amazed at Murray's ability to stay in a point where others would have long given up
Oh please, you think Murray is Almagro ?
fed's gotta figure out how to get more fh's
First time Federer pushed Murray out of his comfort zone.
If murray's serve lets him down it could be a very different match
Two Set Points...!
