It doesn't matter when he wins one nice point and loses the others with his own errors.
I never like tiebreaks, once shank and it's over.
I hate these f***ing commentators, honestly. Could they be any more anti-Fed if they tried?
I wonder if that guy who called in sick from work to watch this match is regretting his decision.
This Fed is not even getting to Djoko it seems.
Is it your first match watching him? That's the way he usually looks, nothing to worry about.
Federer sent that volley right at Murray
fed is going to have to win some tiebreaks if he is going to win this match. not looking that great on andys service games. feel like this match is going to go service duel style
You Fed fans lose faith so quickly; it's hilarious. The only difference in this match so far is Murray's awesome serving. We'll see if he can keep it up when this set goes to a tiebreak.
Wow, what a point from murray.
Of course but just for rhetorical purposes...
Sure, sure, like he always was slaughtered by Djoko. Djokovic has been luck to beat Fed in the 2 USOs he did. And in WTF.
It's Fed, he always has a poker face, he cares.
always had hope... even if federer loses two sets.. I know he can pull it off..
now.. it is totally different.. I can't see fed losing..never
Blegh, Murray is just able to get to everything. I always hate these matches with Djokovic and Murray. Federer can hit a few awesome shots and the point just won't end. It's ridiculous to me.
3 gifts from Murray, and a roaring ALLEZ from roger.
Big battle by Federer, he's putting on a fight to a very in-form Murray. Loving it.
Quite a different story at AO though
I don't want that Olympics talk to start again where people kept saying Federer "didn't want to win" the match
Murray is like a damn machine, until he gets an opening.
For some reason this reminds me of NSK's comment at the beginning of last Wimbledon that prime Fed would never win on grass against the current Djoker, so all his Wimbledon titles were flukes. And then that semifinal between old man and prime Djoker happened. #facepalm
I didnt mean his face .. I mean the way he moves .. the way he goes for the shots, the way he even takes them ! so carelessly
If you're just gonna sit here and argue the whole time why not go to another thread?
These slow courts are pretty lame. Federer can hit a bunch of huge shots in a row and Murray/Djoko are able to run them down and safely keep them in play.
burn of a challenge
LOL I think Murray just couldn't believe Roger could get an ace past him with the way he's returning tonight.
Hopefully this can give Roger some good ole momentum.
Fed made a lot of first serves in that game and was still under pressure to hold.
If he doesn't break Murray now, I feel Muzza will break him in his next service game and go on to take the second set.
I'm still bitter about Azarenka. Thanks to ESPN for reminding me of that bitterness.
Not rearlly. Nole beat him twice there but 1st time was when Fed was sick, the 2nd was so close it could have ended in straights to Fed. Fed also squashed Djokovic at the AO in 2007.
Fed can ALWAYS beat Djokovic if his game is on. Murray is actually a much tougher matchup for him than Nole is.
Federer seems to be fighting too much on his service games...
Fed and Murray match popped my TT cherry. Cheers
Fed starting to play like he knows how to.... Murray losing steam
He served only 6 aces in the Tsonga match I think? His serve wasn't that great there either. Ofcourse Murray is an even better return player.
Bathroom break wanted
p.s. i mean for myself :shame:
Muray hasn't had too many problems hitting winners...
I've never noticed how much nerves are Murray's achilles heel. The other top three, for the most part, are ice in the big situations. That first set could have been 6-1. This set will go to a tiebreak. I actually think Fed/Djoko will be a better final. Murray's huge serve keeping him ahead. Better not go off the boil.
he was wrong. Fed is vastly superior to Djoko on grass. But not on hard. And AO hasn't been played on grass since the late 80s...
Welcome to the forums.
It was funny to watch Fed beat Nole and Murray back to back (AGAIN) just to shut all these *******s for a while.
Prime Fed is superior to everyone on hard. EVERYONE.
Federer like point from Murray there.
He has such a great all court game. It is shame he hasn't always used it.
Murray playing well, but the serves seem forced. Let's see if he keeps it up.
I feel for any1 who is reminded of NSK
since fed is not making big dents on andys service games, you guys think he should just red line the return points?
Fed now's your chance.
Or a handwash break or a MTO...Someone sneak in a copy of Uncle Toni's ten commandments to Fed
Prime Fed doesn't exist anymore. And it will be proven again this tournament.
Fed should have lobbed it!
That was Rogers opportunity.
good tennis from andy
