Murray was generally expected to win and he did. In the condition he is in, the way he plays and the slow courts, anything other than a win would have been a disaster for a player in his prime against a man quite past his now.

Quite disastrous for Tsonga. The poor chap should retire.

No one with issues like Agassi had ever takes meth only once. He just admitted taking it once (because it was amazing PR for his book) which means he most likely took it regularly for months.

He did play well but once thing he didn't do is hit forehands down the line or inside-in even when they were on for most of the match. He hit one epic inside-in forehand but apart from that the well was pretty dry for both of those shots.

He was notably improved in this regards last year - I assume Lendl's influence - and without getting into the groove of hitting them he'll never be truly great - he is simply too predictable off his forehand wing during normal rally situations when he wont hit down the line with confidence. Federer was probably counting his lucky stars last night that Murray lacked those shots most of the time - it allowed him to stay with Murray more than he deserved for much of the match.

Are you thick? I said Agassi pushing Roger like that was but one tournament. Not that his condition was limited to one tournament. Like I said, stop talking, you'll only make a fool out of yourself even more.

Agassi was an all-time great. He had less mileage overall. His condition is something he always had. He played through it for a long time so if he could win then why can't he have it and still push Fed? It's like Nadal's knees. If he plays through it, he's good enough to go on.

Just because you cannot comprehend something doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

People living in glass houses should not throw stones, lol.

The ONLY one who needs to STFU here is you. Federer doesn't aim for the opponent's head and then not even apologise like Murray. Shut your trap already. You're literally grasping at straws. Sending a shot in the opponent's direction is NOT THE SAME is aiming shots AT a players body. Federer had to literally duck to avoid Andy's shot hitting him and he barely missed it despite the fact that Andy had an easy pass. Stop making a royal fool out of yourself and SHUT UP for once.

Sure, not unlikely. But imo it's more likely he took PEDs than meth.

good win for murray. One of the best matches he's ever played ...Kudos for first win over fed in a slam ...

props to fed as well for putting up a huge fight even though his game wasn't clicking ...

Its funny how people (Cahill for example) say Federer is playing better than he's played for 7 years, yet as soon as he loses he's suddenly 'not clicking'. Gee, maybe it has something to do with the opponent....maybe.....its not like Federer has ever been dominant vs Murray outside of the slams. It was only a matter of time before Murray's slam level matched his non-slam level and Federer suffered the consequences.

Nadal is still suspended, and your right hand is still working full time over his pictures on Google.
