you kind of just double double click the image and a separate browser, with a link, will pop up

no worries custom+hybrid,...i'll do it for you, but thanks for pointing out that federer's newer pics finally on getty images :)

faber...its not a drastic change, new pj of a racquet, new shoes is a change, new apparel is straight forward, but did he carry a black nike bag before? or maybe this is just for practice sessions..

i remember sampras used to carry only his huge black nike bag to his matches...

    some more pictures...:)

^notice how next to roche is an ncode....maybe the racquet he uses...or maybe the one racquet which on the way to getting the K90 pj got left behind! :)

steve el: wow! i didnt even notice that there was one on the chair! straight with the leather grip too....maybe roche's racquet? a scheme to make us think roche uses the ncode 90 and cannot handle the new K90, which only federer can? (and also mirka)

roche has the 95 you can tell because of the thicker beam.

maybe the racquet between roche's legs is the ncode 95, and the ncode 90 sitting on the chair is the one racquet federer accidentally left behind when taking his frames for the new pj? of course he could have received totally new frames with k factor pj's, but forgot to put away all of his ncodes...

i just set that picture as my computer screen background and if you be serious about it, you can see a little of the handle of the racquet between roche's legs...the grip appears to be a leather grip...perhaps the camera angle makes that racquet seem a little bigger but its also an ncode 90?

that'd make more sense because federer couldnt give or put away all of his ncodes! he needed to keep a pair! :)

    I have a few questions.
First of all is it really called the "kSix-One Tour" or sumthing else.
like the "K Factor Six-One Tour".

and anyone know if Fed actually ever wore the last Vapor Speed incarnation?

Honestly, he was just asking a question. For how much energy you spent typing those posts, you could have answered it for him.

Anyway, it's not "Federer's New Racquet"; it's "Federer's New Paint Job".

setpoint: First, welcome to the boards. If you'd like more info, the racquet in question is the 'new' K-Factor version of his old frame. I hope this helps you on your search, there should be plenty of info on the first page of the racquets sub-forum.

For the rest of you users, this type of response is both useless and completely rude and unnecessary. EVERYONE has been a "newb" once. Is this the kind of welcome you'd want when asking a question?

I'm going to close this thread because we seem to be more intent on ridiculing an innocent question/poster rather than answering his question.

Federer answers a question about his racquet.

I found this exchange from his interview in Kooyong interesting.

So did he really use the nCode last year, and is he really using the carbon black? Or is he just flat out lying? I'm sure I'm not in a position to know, but I did find it interesting.

nice excerpt...but to me the racquet's been the same...so sure he was using the "nCode" last year until the off season when he would practice with this k factor pj...

he isnt exactly lying, i mean it is a different racquet since the pj is different :)

but its the racquet available to the public which is much different now....similar if not the same as federer's...without customization

alrgith im kinda confused here there are too many racquets to keep track, so let me get it straight... people think hes been using the PS 6.0 85 all along under a paint job of the ncode and now hes using the k-factor (is this a new racquet?) i think someone should just make a sticky on one thread about feds racquet cuz there are way too many to look through to find the right one about it

you see, if you ask any pro about his racket and stuff they would say how it feels, how they played, the persons OPINION. But roger on the other hand is giving specific information like the nanotech, and more control, the carbon black thing and stuff. It to me looks like this racquet is PURELY a way to sell more of wilson, attract more people, and roger is really doing a small advertisement in the interview. I would like to see him play with it and compare it to his last one.

i'm not sure what the actual racquet is...if it really is a pro staff 6.0 original, or the pro staff tour 90 but with different pj's....but as for specs and customization....its the same frame

for federer's frame, the ncode 90 and K90 he's used and using to me have absolutely no difference...the only difference is the ncode 90 stock model and the K90 stock model

maybe someone should break a PS 6.0, PS tour 90, ncode 90, and a K90 and see the differences inside the frame....

i have a piece of a broken ncode (not mine) somewhere, maybe in my bag, and its like styrofoam inside...
