I am not sure how much we can trust what a racquet company emplyee has to say.

Today a Head salesman came to Ferris State University's Professional Tennis Management workshop weekend. He brought many new FlexPoint racquets for us to demo. Before that he gave a presentation of the "new" technology and said that Safin uses the Liquid Metal and Agassi and Ferrero use the FlexPoint. He even said that Agassi wanted to use it in the 2004 US Open but Head did not let him, LOL.

I di dnot like any of the new FlexPoint but I did manage to hit a ball on a FlexPoint t-shirt so I won it.

It was a great weekend because many top tennis professionals came to give presentations. Rick Macci, Bob Love, and Ed Krass were a few of them. The guy from Playmate ball machine company gave a superb demo of what the machine can do.

LOL, its already been known and said many times. Fed uses a custom setup like 90% of the pros do. Different string pattern and small weight/balance change for the surface and conditions he plays on.

For example, a setup that suits topspin on clay. Flat on grass.... Maybe even if his opponents hits mostly flat or topspin.
