Putting game mechanics aside, what impresses me with this guy the most is how he carries himself on court. A lot has been said about how temperamental he was when younger. But now he just gives off this message to his opponent like "Do whatever you have to do, take your time, I'm just gonna play my game". Rarely you will see him argue with the umpire. When he hits a shot, thinks it was a good shot but gets called otherwise, he just gives it a look and carries on.

True. Ice in his veins. It just goes to show you that in this world of rudeness and unsportsman like conduct - you could still get the hype with the opposite attitude. Unlike Serena Williams.

Apparently Mirka thinks that Federer is getting cocky so she asked John McEnroe to say something negative about him.
But I do like the way he conducts himself on the court. No McEnroe "You can not be serious" complaining about line calls, but he still gives a "come on" once in a while, just not as frequently as Hewitt.

Didn't Roger refuse to shake the umpire's hand at last year's Roland Garros?

I'm sure he deserved it if Fed would refuse to shake his hand.

You are right rommil. I love the way Roger carries himself. He's good example to kids to treat others with respect on court.
