federers backhand

    has anyone noticed that federer uses a continetal grip when he hits a backhand i find this very unusual i tryed it its very hard

    Are you sure? I'm pretty sure it's continental for slice, eastern for topspin.

    Only on slices.

    I've seen Federer pull off nice slices with eastern BH grip too. But his topspin GS is mostly eastern BH definitely.

    I saw a clip of him using Continetal for top spin. Maybe that was just one though, and he did not have enough time to switch or something.
