Is there any way that Federer can slip to number 3 in the rankings before Roland Garros. It would be a pity for Federer to have to play Nadal in the semis.

this new calendar has me all confused.

Can anyone give a nice description of possibilities regarding the seedings for RG??

If Murray wins Madrid, then yes he would be number three. Anything less (like making it to the final) then Roger can't lose his number three seeding. Roger will have a little over 600 points lead over Murray when the Hamburg points drop.

If Djokovic won Madrid and Roger lost in the first round, he would regain number three (no matter what Roger did) and be ten points away from the number two spot.
