LOL Fed just can't fake these losses.

The DF in the last game was so obvious, you can even see a very slight change in the service motion. Not much but it catches you in the corner in the eye and you no it's not gonna go in.

The FH into the net was pretty obvious too.

Fed acted like he won at the end anyway so does it really matter?

Millions in the bank just to throw a bone for a mid-ranking player at an exo? Looks like Fed did win

You are correct and I'll fix that now. I did some research and my info is outdated (as in, Ferrer has since pulled out).

With Tsonga and Federer, I hope we'll see a lot of serve and volley.

Yep I knew this was gonna happen. Federer decides to make it competitive and fails a tweener. Meanwhile Bellucci is taking notes down on the side to ensure he scores a win over Fed next time.

Just tuned in and Tsonga seems to be playing it like a real match (somewhat like Bellucci). I guess they're trying to pull a Roddick and use an exho win as a gateway victory for future success against Roger.

It is scary how big and heavy Tsonga is serving with that new Aero pro 2013. He could go thru the entire year without getting broken.

What the hell are you guys talking about? This match ended hours ago. Federer won 7-6 6-3. The match was okay. It had some good points, especially in the last 2 games.

So that pretty much assures Tsonga is winning their next match, probably in two close sets, so Jo-Willie is not sad for making the trip and Rogi can get home early and Mirka can do the full face-cream rituals on him before bedtime. Federer is the exhibition tour's host and like any good host he's going to make sure Belluci wins in his home country and that the opponents he's playing twice win one each. Is Haas the other one he's playing? Not sure how that will go. Fed will probably want his end score to be 3-3 and he did give Tommy that Halle final, so we'll see how generous he's feeling for his old friend at Christmas.

The one I'm really curious about is Del Potro. If Fed takes the first match, then Del Po definitely wins the second. The problem is if Del Po takes them both seriously to avenge his bad record against Fed in front of the home crowd. If Del Po wins the first, Fed will not want four straight losses (even including exhos), so we have the potential -- one could hope -- to witness the longest three-set exho in history: 7-6, 6-7, 7-6? :)

Roger should worry because that power of Tsonga was pushing him around. Roger literally framed 50% of his returns when he was faced with powerful Tsonga serve

It really is a shame he hasn't been able to keep it together over the years. He has one of the nicer aggressive styles of play.

Do none of these opponents understand you don't have to win these exhos? Haas is getting frustrated and muttering to himself. Wearing Nadal's USO night outfit is a weird choice too.
