Even though I decided to eat meat, I still find it cool that he was a vegetarian. Plus it is his choice to follow it, just because you parents do it does not mean you should. But it is cool for me to think about federer being a vegetarian.

I just read his first two posts, and they're quite entertaining. To be honest, I haven't been reading much of the blogs this year other than Tursunov's. And while Tursunov has the comic factor, Roger's blog so far is something different, and I like it.

And I love that picture with Henman.

what are some of you posters on here saying? federer's blog is great!

tursonov's blog was great as well, but i look forward to reading federer's blog more, and i think its shaping up to be the best blog of the year....he should have been assigned to it during wimbledon though

These blogs remind me why I have never read any so far. They are a complete waste of time! What is so great about any of them or Roger's in particular?

And I have to say, even though I love to watch Federer play, he writes like a 16 yr old...

ah yes that's a radical change from vegetarian. ;)

so did he finally eat juliette's T-bone steak or not ?!
i'm sure his cow (if she's still alive) is under shock if she manages to read roger's blog from her swiss alpine pasturage......

that was a pretty lame attempt at a joke. He eats meat now, and apparently lots of people don't like that he's not a vegetarian.

Anyways, to be fair, the life of a pro tennis player can't be that exciting outside of the matches, can it? I mean, all the thrill is on the court. Off the court, it's mostly just looking good for the press, isn't it? I did like that he mentioned that he played with the prince of Japan, pretty sweet, and he does have a sense of humor too.

I mean, what would Tiger Woods' blog sound like? Pretty much the same I guess.

this, i definitely can understand. but it's not a reason for avoiding jokes...
i mean... this is not such a serious topic, what he's eating !

by the way, i'm wondering about something :
in french we make the disctinction between vegetaRisme and vegetaLisme... in english are the words the same ?... (without the "E" of course) ;)

federer's last post in his blog is just great.....humor everywhere and its very insightful....and how he'll order a double because tim is paying, and he'll be funnier tomorrow again because he's tired and getting nervous with dmitry tursonov behind him....lol

after reading all the blogs i felt that nadal's blog was somewhat written thru a translator, but from the last pic in federer's blog today it seems he actually spends time to write it up himself on his laptop....which i hope is not "stone age" like his mobile phone!

Yes but Nadal fans will quickly point out that sweet Nadal's blog featured not one, but two pictures of Rafa without his shirt on. That's so dreamy, no?

    I like it.
New English = of or pertaining to Massachusetts, Connecticut, Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire and Rhode Island?
    Kidding.

Here's one I recently heard. A friend of my wife eats no meat, except the meat of fish. She calls it pescatarianism.

Then you have some vegetarians who do eat eggs, and some who do not.

Some who eat cheese and some who do not.
Some who drink milk and some who do not (I guess the non-dairy ones are vegans).

    Main Varieties

Foods allowed in the main vegetarian diets Diet Name Meat Fish Eggs Dairy
    Lacto-ovo vegetarianism ----------------------------No-- No-- Yes--Yes
    Lacto vegetarianism --------------------------------No--No---No---Yes
    Ovo vegetarianism ---------------------------------No---No---Yes---No
    Veganism -----------------------------------------No-- No-- No--- No

and I did not know following.

    Semi-Vegetarian Varieties
The following similarly named diets are not considered full vegetarianism:

Pesco/pollo vegetarianism (semi-vegetarianism, poultratarianism) — These people will only eat some certain of meats depending on the particular diet.

Flexitarianism — Flexitarians neither want to eat the meat of animals that lived or died in cruel conditions, nor are they fulltime vegetarians. They sometimes will eat meat and other non-dairy animal products.

Freeganism — Freegans want to only consume things that have been produced without harming any living thing or the environment.

Great blog so far. He's got a good sense of humor.

I've come to the conclusion that aside from Indians, NO ONE is a vegetarian. Oh, maybe a couple people here and there, but you will never meet them in your lifetime. With Indians, mostly south Indians, it's just the culture. Most of the tasty dishes don't require any meat, there's enough spices and vegetables and breads to make everyone happy. For other cultures, without meat you have nothing.

"Indians can'ts bowls fast, becaaz theys dont eats meats"
