I used to liek him more in like 2003-04 when he would just hammer the ball as hard as he could down the line on the return of a serve. He was so exciting but now he is becoming less exciting.

Why now? He's just come off of a couple of disappointing Grand Slams, he was doing better earlier in the season.

I do hope he'll be a force on the hardcourts though.

if he played the way he used to, he wouldnt be ranked higher than he is now. unfortunately, he had to give up his crazy game to get to where he is. he WAS fun to watch.

I don't really like his game. Too much flash and power.

    Gonzalez

I was quite shocked with his great improvement at AO. Before I thought he was just another good player but after watching him take on and beat 3 top players I think he is the one to watch this year. What a difference a new coach makes!

Does anyone have a match for Fed? Gonzo is right up there with the closest group of guys who have a chance to push Fed.

I think he's just "in form" right now. I don't expect him to be in the top 10 next year at this time. I mean, his backhand is not so good and even his slice isn't that good (not enough speed, not low enough). I would be surprised if he is still in the top 10 next year at this time.
