Here are some pictures from Copa Telmex, Buenos Aires.. Ferrer, as many spanish players, is playing with the O3 tour.

Not that it's important, or that I know of any functional difference between the two, but isn't that an Ozone (Pro) Tour? I thought the O3 Tour had orange at 3 & 9 o'clock, rather than white.

I believe that I read he was "informed" that either he started using the O3 line of racquets or his sponsorship would be dropped. I could be wrong but again I believe I read something to the sort.

Let me clear this up. That is the Ozone Tour, not the O3 tour. Davy uses the Ozone Pro Tour which is the heavier frame with the 18x20 pattern. His opponent today in the Buenos Aires final (JCF) also uses the Ozone Tour. In today's Memphis final you also have 2 Prince rackets squaring off. And top males don't use Prince?!?

they all use custom layups and XL lengths (ferrer, jcf, davy). clay guys use the open pattern, davy uses the tighter pattern. nothing to do with stock consumer frames whatsoever. jcf specs have been something like 12.2oz, 6pts hl, 66 RA, 28". all that info is posted here in the past.

looking at the memphis final, it's interesting to see how the o3 technology has made PJs impossible for prince. both querrey (hybrid tour) and isner (original o3 white) are using long discontinued racquets.
with both of them becoming more visible top 30, maybe top 20 players it will be interesting to see what prince does with them.

on a side note, what black string was querrey using at memphis?
