what a close match ending up with ferrero winning 8-6 in the 5 set. Koubek played very aggressively against ferrero koubek really tried to keep the ball to ferreros backhand side from what i could tell from the little espn coverage they showed of the match.

Its good they show just a little bit of that match because its mostly baseline crosscourt rallies. The Sprem-Williams match is turnin out pretty good.

    GO KAROLINA AND JUAN CARLOS!!

u r kidding right? the JCF-Koubek match was chock full of baseline rallies but also lots of points where they were using the court to full advantage.. comparing it to the Sprem-Williams match where the gals are struggling to keep rallies going is a joke.

    Vamos JC!!!!

What really impressed me about Ferrero today was his will to win, he wanted this victory. Last year he would of just given up and come up with a shocker of an excuse, he had at least 9 break points against him in the fiirst couple of games in the fourth but came back really strong. And in the Tie Break he never let up.

Times like this make me feel proud to be JC's biggest fan.

And I am glad Sprem won, even though the umpire was trippin!! :D

LOL Liam, that ump was out of it. Funniest part was the little smile he gave to sprem afterwars, lol

But awesome JCF. I saw some of that too, and that was great. Saved 2 match points to win it, looked tough out there. Koubek was hitting really well and playing pretty flat, but Ferrero hung in there and took it, glad that he did.
