FH Followthrogh teaching

    Looking for advise how to teach/ reenforce constant FH followthrough movement. Any special exercizes or drills?

    The best imagery is imagining you're there are five balls in front of you (in front of contact, four more balls in a line) and you have to hit each one of them.

    There are no drills that enforce extension that I know of. You just have to imagine and get used to it.

    Since it seems like you're an instructor, just feed the balls softly and give the player feedback when he or she extends properly. Make sure the player is aware of the problem, and how fixing it will help her game and how it will affect strokes.

    I have my students freeze at the end of the follow through. I really stress good balance, and this helps. You can really see and they can understand some of their poor techniques by doing this...

    Thanks, guys. Also I remember somebody advised to 'kiss' the bicep every time to ensure you reached that point...
