Found this interesting Fila "system" Midsize on my travels a couple months ago. Looks to be mid-1980's (pre-bumper guard) era; braided graphite construction, made in Belgium. Almost a dead ringer mould-wise to a concurrent Snauwaert Graphite Mid (or other Snauwaert "_____ Mid" - Golden, Boron, etc. or Graphite Pro), albeit with a different drill pattern. Anyone know anything more about it? I can report that it is heavy, has lots of power, and hits like a pile driver.

Weird goldtone aluminum emblem disc affixed to butt cap. This frame probably cost a fortune when new; this was back when a Fila shirt cost US$80!

Close comparison with a 1983 Snauwaert Graphite Mid:

The only player I ever remember seeing use a Fila composite was Aussie Mark Edmondson. I couldn't say if it was the same stick as this one, although memory says it certainly looks similar. This would have been in 1983. Google pics of the Davis Cup final that year - you may get to have a better look.

Know nothing at all about the specs though - sorry I can't help you there.
