Come on,he did beat Gasquet and Federer......What other name would you suggest????I want Volandri to beat berdych....but if berdych wins,he better watch himself cos if he pulls a stunt like he did when he beat Nadal in Madrid he might get beaten up.....aint a fence to stop the fans getting on court in italy like there is in football.
j/k im sure tomas would be fine......i think he'll win

Yes, Volandri can beat Berdych ! ...... Well, if Berdych self-destruct
in the same way Federer and Gasquet did...

I agree, except Federer played quite poorly (compared to his usual) to begin with , so he didn't have much to breakdown from.

Volandri has good results once in a while, but not too steady to bring him always forward in the rankings. While Berdych is having a peak (on his worst surface) in addition to that he's always had it to be a top 10 material. I say Berdych wins 6-4 6-4.

No stunt - I will grant a player to react like that at times. Not that it's good but realize that a player on court is also human and even audience can be a culprit as to get under his nerves. How about Nadal saying "Vamos" when opponent will make an unforced error like misplacing an open winner? That is so f***** stupid! And Nadal had no right to give him an advice after he lost the match - talk of frustration .. duhhhh

    match on.

i gotta say, i can't stand these two tennis channel commentators. morons. impressing us with gems like 'berdych has gotta love that he's playing volandri and not federer today.' no . . . REEEEAAAAALLLLLY???

they spend the warm-up in total amazement as to how volandri, with a losing record, a bad serve, no big-name wins . . . could manage to beat fed. hmmmm . . . they saw the match yesterday, didn't they? and they still haven't figured it out. couple of geniuses.

berdych is so hot and cold. so far today, cold. i guess he's not relishing getting his *ss spanked by nadal in the final, either. he wants to chill with fed, knock back a couple of cold ones and watch the final on tv.
