Good animation. I like the character of the Captain.

I've watched multiple hundreds of XXX movies in 2012 and I give al of them a 1 of out of a possible 2 hands rating.

None deserved a double fisted rating.

I plot are uninspired and too many sequels. Many movies have a number after them that goes into double digits.

    Prometheus.

What a disappointment. Doesn't have the suspense/horror factor of Alien. Doesn't have the action/excitement of Aliens. Certain parts of the plot were seriously contrived (you go to a planet you've never been to before - why would you try and stroke an alien creature that comes out of the water??? It's not the next door neighbour's cat!).

Overall, I thought it was crap. Some sort of rip off of 2001 / Alien / Aliens. Only redeeming feature was the Michael Fasbender character. Charlize Theron was pretty good as well.

Amen to that. What a total disappointment it was. I so wanted this one to be good. Or atleast not totally bad. But, as I read in another review somewhere, after the characters has made stupid choice after stupid choice, time after time, you finally just give up and hope that they all get killed and that the film will be over soon.

Even the pilot and copilots of Prometheus looked happy that the film was over for them when they crashed the ship at full speed... :)

2 out of 5. Tough guys? Buncha wimps with no brains. They KNOW they're being stalked by wolves, yet none bother to carry spears or knives on the tip of sticks, nor do they wear 3 pairs of pants (teeth proofing). Crashed airplanes are full of sharp metal parts, perfect for knives, machetes, axes, and other cutting instruments.
And Neesom, see his rifle broken at the barrel, doesn't keep the stock and action and use it with a stub barrel? Is he stupid too?

The only thing good about it was the music.

Other than that, it really did disappoint. Not only did it disappoint, but they totally defied the laws of physics too. That **** pisses me off in movies.

I just saw Safety Not Guaranteed. I give it 4.5 out of 5. It was kind of a quirky indie romantic comedy, involving time travel. Sounds horrible, but they made it work somehow. It was based on my favorite Internet meme, so I had to see it. http://wiki.ytmnd.com/Safety_Not_Guaranteed

Did they actually do that ? Were the humans in a space suit ? Who was the person doing the stroking? A man, doctor, scientist, or a child? What did the creature look like ?

Strange, i thought so-called sci-fi movies (if that is one) would be vetted by someone with scientific knowledge, or based on a book by someone with knowledge.
