You're clearly not playing tennis in this pic.

Anyone can title a thread "Finally found a pic of me holding a trophy and sweaty" and be accurate, too.

    These boards amuse me sometimes.

^^ Everyone does...........especially those that feel the need to post this fact randomly on chat boards.

By the way (just so everyone knows), I regularly sleep with random super models.

I think a short video of a serve is in order. even if its just one serve.

only 130? Nothing special about that. It's a known fact the average serve speed by players on this forum is high 140s

I assumed since the poster has Kentucky under his profile pic he is in the USA. And in the USA we usually use mph. 80mph is believable. 130mph is not.

    Draw your own conclusions...

ttwarrior1, by posting a direct link to your photo on facebook with your name in the caption, I'm going to call you out on your claims of playing in the "open" division and hitting 130MPH serves...

In this picture you say that you play in the "open" division

This is the first post of this thread, saying that you serve 130 (I assume MPH)

Here is a facebook post (that is public) saying that you are looking for a 3.5 doubles player

3.5 doubles player? I don't know of any 3.5s that can hit 130MPH serves and who also can play "open" and win. Audience, you decide if ttwarrior1 is telling the truth or not

We all knew he was BSing this whole time, but he still insisted that he was telling the truth...

I can't wait to see what he says to get out of this one.

good detective work lol. I don't know many 3.5 players serving 135 mph either. Personally I am too freakin old (43) to bother with any of that stuff.

lol, everyone is taking ttwarrior way too seriously. Go back and read his "Greatest Post You May Ever Read" post from 5 years ago. This guy is highly entertaining. . . far more so than 99% of the other posters around here.
Oh but hey. . . I love how you guys are all so proud of yourselves for calling him out as a fraud. Awesome job.

Nobody is proud lol. I do not need to go back and read a thread from 5 years ago. Why? Who cares if he is making stuff up. What is funny is he has his personal information posted here and he was caught. That is funny.

Unless...... That facebook profile is in fact not him. and he is using it to ridicule the guy. then that is just mean and rude. So either scenario the guy is a fraud.

It's him, and I only posted it because it's public information, especially if the OP is sharing a facebook link of himself with a picture caption of his name, also with links to the "Evansville Community Tennis Association"

In fact, If you click on the facebook link in the OP's 1st post of this thread, he links to his picture, and then if you click on "Back to group", then read the Wall for "Evansville Community Tennis Association" you will see the same post.

I'm sure if you really wanted to verify and look up the person's USTA rating on tennislink you'll probably be able to find him too.

Because he admitted that he is at "350" in that pic, I may as well bluntly convey that:

No man of his... carriage... could possibly move his body efficiently and quickly enough to generate the power for a 130mph serve. If he did, he'd probably rip something internally (seriously)... Furthermore, a man like this couldn't possibly run down well-placed shots w/o risking serious injury. If the game is fast enough, then proper footwork is difficult enough even just hitting down the middle.

Perhaps he really did mean 130KPH. I'm giving the OP the benefit of doubt that he wouldn't try to convince us that he is a competitive player. Perhaps he's just showing us that he is still somewhat fit and capable despite his size, and that he is proud if his progress and his victory.

If so: Good for him. Congrats on the victory.

A 130mph claim from nearly anyone demands high-FPS video proof or similar validation. That much is obvious.

    ^^^agreed

This big of a person might be able to hit as fast as me, but no way can he put 130mph heat on it like Fed or Roddick. I am 6'3", 205 lbs and I work out 3-4 times per week for strength and flexibility. I have a fairly decent serve at a 4/4.5 level that gives me some free points. If my 1st ball is going 100-105, I would be happy.

How's your 130mph serve coming along? Still that fast or is it even faster now?

ttwarrior1 is probably pulling a Borat on us. He's either making fun of himself ("our 3.5 players play 5.0 usta", LOL) or of someone else (a bit insensitive :) if that's the case). But regardless, I think he's making fun of people given to delusions of grandeur and others given to offering attitude adjustments. The two categories often overlap, myself included :)

ttwarrior1, congrats on your deadpan delivery. Rock on!

Why call them 3.5 if they play 5.0 usta? just consolidate the ratings and it will be easier for you to remember.

Can't use the barns in Kentucky to play tennis in the winter. The livestock have to be in there. He's busy lifting weights to bulk up for next season. I don't care if he can hit 130 or not. At 350 it would be easy to just drop shot and lob him till he had a heart attack.

    haha, 130mph?

    i've watched a pretty solidly built 3.5 player serving at 115mph - 190kph.

his serve was wicked like 5.0 level, forehand 4.5, backhand 3.5, court positioning and tactics 3.0, movement 3.0, fitness 2.0.

yes i do superslow weight training most of the time. Every once in awhile i like to show off how much weight i can lift because some people seem to think your supposed to throw and jerk weights around.
Superslow is the way to go

So you're claiming you're a 5.0? I dont want to be rude, but you're hardly a small guy. Doesnt seem like you'd have the fitness to keep up with 4.5's, never mind about higher...

No he is not 5.0. He is not rated because he is an "open" player and wins them. so 5.5 or 6.0 at the least. :)

just ate a bag of doritos and 14 mini snickers. Motiviation just goes away. did 1 hour of lifting and cardio though. One thing counters another.

On a side note: Ive beaten 6.0 7.0 and even lost to 3.0's

Well in all honesty you were playing 500 lbs opponents, so you were comparatively light as a feather. BTW, next time just mention you're overweight, I don't need to squint and vomit with the visuals.
