I am lucky (or unlucky) enough to be going to Gulf Shores in September for a Tri level league tournament. Anyone been there and have some good advice or any good advice about tournaments for a first time goer?

If it is anything like sectionals this is the advice I have. Be prepared to be flexible .. Often times you will be playing 5 matches in three days so people are going to fade and u may need to step in.

Being prepared means preparing your body in advance ... Lost of fluids and eat right. Get good rest and be a good team player .. Be the guy that every team needs .. Side aside if necessary, step up when they need you.

I'm assuming you are talking about Gulf Shores in Alabama. Nice place for a vacation but it's still going to be miserably hot to play tennis there in September. It's a big tourist town, so there is a lot of stuff to do, although some of it will be closed after Labor Day. Bring the family and enjoy the beaches!! :)
