Fischer's rackets, such as Pro no. 1 FT, are reported 27.4 inches or 70cms long. However 70cms should be 27.6 inches. Pls advise whether they are 27.4 inches or 27.6 inches ?

CCo2819. here is the real scoop on Fischer stick length. The lengths are usually based on 26.8" or 680mm for standard. Longer sticks start at 27.2" or 690mm like the Impact or Rally or FT #1, and 27.6 for some in the recreational series, and one big oversized at 28". Yes, their base is 680mm or 26.8" not 685mm, 27" that Prince or Wilson or ven Volkl use. So the Spirit, Smash Ti, #1 are shorter than 27". Sticks listed as 27.4 are 27.2. I have measured dozens and owned dozens of others. I thought they changed this but I measured and owned later versions with the same measurenents.
Actually the shorter length enhances maneuverability!

    My VT98 Pro's, Pro #1 330 (red/silver) have been 26.8". My Pro Extreme FT was 27.2".

My Fischers have dome shaped butt cap ends. If you don't include the 'dome' in your measurements you loose at least .1 inches.
