Not sure why they didn't make one 27.5.
It looks from the picture that the TOUR's string pattern is simular
to the Instinct TOUR. 16X19 but real dense in the middle.
But can't wait to demo it. Have hit with the MP and OS.

Considering where the flexpoint hole is, what do you imagine the racquet would do on shots hit on the upper third of the hoop?

    El Diablo,
Great question, I didn't notice any different feel when I hit with the MP and OS and I do tend to it higher in the sweetspot. At least that is where I see most of the ball fuzz.

    YES!!!
Finally a 16-19 players racquet by Head, and if this racquet's stiffness rating is at about 60, I will buy this with no hestitation when in comes out.
I hope it will feel similar to the Prestige Classic mid:)
Would anyone know what it's stiffness rating is?

I think You are't ser. It is to most important to Head office. First information we can use past Safin (yea, yea a new Head nr1 star) win. Why ? Beacouse Ferreiro is looooos.

    100 sq. in. Flexpoint Radical

FINALLY!!! A Radical between the MP & OS. And 16x19. Even better. I have sent numerous e-mails to Head begging for such a frame, knowing I was wasting my time ( it appears I wasn't). So it seems you have me to thank for this new frame. Hope the beam stays the same as previous Rads. I'll sign up for a pair without a demo

wao, did you like them? did they actually cup the ball? I was just about to order my Wilson nCode nSix-One 95, but now I just read that the FP Rad MP Tour is going to have a 16/19 string pattern, and that is what I was looking for mainly in a racquet. Oh well, when I hit with the nSix-One 95 today, it was phenomenal; I highly doubt that Head could make a better racquet for me.

The grass is always greener........just hang around here, you'll see.

Seriously, if you have a shread of doubt wait until you can test the FP. Otherwise if you buy the Wilson stay away from the Head. You're walet will thank you.

    Good luck,

    AF

For a long time, 16x19 is what I was hoping for in the Radical line, but why the 100 sqin headsize.

ehh the mp doesn't look all that great. don't like the 100 inch headsize, and i think think the lm mp is really good. the tour looks pretty nice though!

Darn shame with all the technology changes Head didn't offer the OS in 16x19. Woulda made more difference than a Big Gulp cup full of Liquid Metal. But the new Rads still look interesting.

i too was hoping for the 95 incher...they should have done a classic radical (98",around 310-320 strung, 18x20, 64 flex, a few pts hl) and then done one that was more "radical" (95" head, 330 strung, 16x19, 62 flex, around 6 pts hl).

that would have been really cool

I just bought a flexpoint rad tour and am loving life. The racket is so comfortable to hit. Just seems the right weight power and control. Strung mine with fibergel power 16 at 59 and can't wait to get out on the court again.

  21. where exactly did you buy your Flexpoint.

TW doesn't sell it yet and I'm wondering when they will. None of the shops here sell it either.

TW had them for sale at their tent at the Pacific Life Open, so they should be available soon. They were letting people demo the racquet along with other newer ones like the Dunlop M-Fils.

I thought one of the TW admins had posted when they'd be available.
