Visiting Tempe and was fortunate enought to secure a new Flexpoint Radical Tour to hit with for two days. This is the Ferraro (sp?) inspired, 100 square inch, 12 ounce (strung) version, strung at 61 pounds (gut mains) and 58 pounds (ALU Rough) crosses. SWEET is the adjective that describes this stick...Flexed out at 57! and heavy enough without tape to handle pace well...serving was GREAT with alot of pop and control...the hoop looks round like the 107 but smaller...very stable. Thought I had strung it too tight at first...but some time in the trunk on 90 degree day seemed to loosen/break in the racquet strings beautifully.

Serves were 9.0...volleys 9.0...groundies were 8.5...next time I will go down a pound and test. All for now.

  2. Don't know too much about it, but it sounds like this new Flex Point stuff is all about making the head, as it goes up, stiffer than the throat. The frame surely can't be more flexible than 57 in other parts of it in today's age. Am I wrong?
