So over the last week or so I've pretty much watched the Aussie and the Winter X Games religiously and it seems like during every commercial break they've been advertising the coverage of national signing day on ESPN U, which got me wondering:

Am I the only one that thinks that putting high school kids in the national spotlight like that is wrong?? It seems to me like that just has to fuel alot of those guys feelings that they are entitled to success. Just makes me think that its one of the key ingredients to cooking up people like Terrel Owens, Chad Johnson, and other players that tend to be selfish and have an uncanny ability to wreck teams.

    So....what do you guys think?

Eh, I don't have too much of a problem with it. NBA players are barely 1-2 years removed from high school and now they're millionaires and on national tv all the time. Baseball players coming out of HS are demanding millions of dollars without ever throwing a pitch for their teams.

The thing I care about when it comes to Feb 3 is to see where they're going to school. Go UCLA! Great recruiting class.
