I've got most of their early ones, Black Sabbath, Master of Reality, Volume 4, Paranoid, and my personal favorite - Sabbath Bloody Sabbath

The birth (along with Zep et al) of GOOD metal.

Blue Cheer .... the birth of bad metal. Was their cover of Eddie Cochrane's "Summertime Blues" maybe one of the worst songs of all time?

    (shiver....)

What about 'Supernaut'? Good jam! Phil jamming to Sabbath in his early years. Paint us a picture of that era, Phil! I want fashion, bars played, automobiles used, women plundered, etc. Also, who is that picture in your profile? Hilarious!!

As always, I was pimping out-even before it was in fashion. You want fashion, Kevin? Ahhh, well, yeah, we had it-sort of...somewhat. Bars played? A few, but more like people's basements, with a keg in the bathtub. I did play one bar in Athens, Greece called, I think, "The Ship Tavern", which was totally GUTTED one night (we had played there on the previous night) by the visiting hooligan/idiot "supporters" of a British soccer team. So, that one wasn't our fault. Autos? I took the bus. Paranoid, Iron Man, Sweet Leaf and Electric Funeral were our Sabbath tunes of choice, and I even sang the lead on Iron Man in one band-while playing drums! Boy did THAT version suck! The profile photo is Gary someting or other-"The War Nerd"-he writes a column for Pravda Online.
