Hi Andy. After reading and viewing many of the play tests, it seems that two of your favorites are the new Babolat Aero Pro Drive and the new Head Graphene Speed Pro. You mention that you got about the same amount of spin with both(even with the 18X20 of the Speed Pro). Just wondering how to decided which is best for me(I will demo them both) . Is there anything that would push you towards one or the other. I'm about 50 yo, semi western fh grip, one hand bh, no history of arm/elbow issues. Thanks in advance for your help.

You're right...my two favorite new racquets currently are the new Graphene Speed Pro and AeroPro Drive PLUS (the standard version doesn't have the heft I like). I would say the Speed Pro performs a little better from the baseline, offers a little better control, and has a slightly softer, more comfortable feel. The AeroPro Drive performs better all over the court and is a little easier to generate pace with.

My best advice when trying to choose between the two would be to demo them both and see which one feels best in your hand. Racquet preference is such a personal thing that this is honestly the best way. But if that is not possible, I might give the slight edge to the AeroPro Drive+, but that honestly changes from day to day, as I really enjoy hitting with both racquets.

    Hope that helps!

    Congratulations...thread HIJACKED!! Just kidding :)

I prefer the Speed Pro, but not by much. I think the Speed Pro performs a little better from the baseline, but the Extreme Pro is better from other areas of the court. You get a little more control and easier access to spin with the Speed Pro, but you get easier access to power and a softer, more plush feel with the Extreme Pro. I'd say if you're looking for some added pop to your game, go with the Extreme, but if you're looking for more control and spin and you are predominantly a baseliner, go with the Speed.
