What I mean by this is, he needs to use those matches to learn how to playaggressively. Nadal and fed use those matches to work out shots and kinks in their games. If Murray gets natural at playing aggressively he will have more success in slams

Murray is a pusher that runs 50 miles a game to win.

I've been saying it since 07 and it stills rings true to this day; he will never win a slam.

And yet your hero hasn't beat him in a hardcourt slam since 2007. It must really hurt to see him lose to a no-good pusher.

Murray would whip you love and love playing left handed and tossing the ball up with his ear.

Murray will never be naturally aggressive. It will always represent a step outside his comfort zone.

Of course he won't - there's nothing to suggest he will.

Was it the Harvard or Princeton debating team where you honed those compelling arguments you make?

Truth hurts, I see. Pushers don't win slams these days. He is too passive and defensive. Plus he is british. Plus Fed knows how to beat him now. Plus he gets stage fright in slam finals.

Murray has about another 20 decent shots at winning a slam. Roger Federer thinks he'll win one. But you; a guy who posts on a tennis messageboard, will know better.

His defensive/passive tennis won't cut it at the slam finals vs Fed. Fed now has found the way to beat Murray. Murray not even taking a set off fed at the slams is telling. Compare that with Del Po's progression vs Fed at the slams. nuff said.

So he did. That's his one win in their last 4 hardcourt meetings.

Your logic is impeccable. Because Murray hasn't followed excatly the same path as Delpo, Murray can't win a slam. Wow - you know stuff , man.

Cyan - the man who knows better than Roger Federer.

I don't see improvements vs fed at the slams. I saw Del Po go from being spanked at the AO to almost beating Fed at the FO and then beating Fed at the USO. That is progression. Murray still cannot beat FED at the slams just like 2 yrs ago:oops: Actually he cannot even take a set off FED at the slams. Murray is looking more like the other Andy when it comes to playing Fed at the slams than like a future slam winner like Del Po.

Your extrapolations make little sense and your positon is predicated on Murray always having to face Federer to win a slam.

The way things are looking, Fed will be around for a while, by the time he retires, Murray's window of opportunity might be close. He is not 18.

No he's 22; with about 20 really good shots and maybe another dozen after that.

Even if Murray doesn't win a slam title, he will continue spanking Nadal each time they play on hard courts or grass courts. :)

How is Nadal's knee, btw. Still intact? He has this unusual habit to pull out each time he gets spanked by Murray.
