Nice article. She has grown on me, but only because Steffi isn't playing anymore.

What's up with Hingis and Lesbians? She called Mauresmo a "half-man" and checked out what she said a few days ago:

"Well, I don't think I was totally tested today. It's hard to say something after 6-2, 6-2 against Lisa Raymond."

Martina is every reporter's wet dream. Snappy, sharp, and with a GS winning record to back it all up. She is terrific. I doubt she has a shot at the FO title though. Those big hitters are hitting awefully big nowadays, and they are versatile too, JHH hits all kinds of balls.

But besides JHH, who else can stop her? Hardenne and Mauresmo might be the only ones who can beat Hingis right now.

Well, her 4th round is against Peer - that should be easy.

Then she's slated to play Clijsters in the quarters, Henin in the semis, Mauresmo(?) in the finals.

Any one of those three could beat her, in my opinion. That's three matches she has to play against players that can beat her - this title is still up for grabs for any of those...

I wouldn't count Peer out just yet.

I'm still in the I Hate Hingis state, and thus I enjoyed reading the article's first paragraph. Doubt there's a chance of conversion for me.
To quote the Arctic Monkeys: She's not nice, she's pretty f*cking far from nice."
